3- The Red Drum® installation procedure

1- - Make sure your transfer shaft is clean.

2- Center the retaining disks on the shaft so you can attach the modules(See fig 1below). Be sure that the module's pins are well anchored in the disk's holes.

3- Slowly turn the machine to ensure that the gripper bars fit freely inside the Red Drum® opening.

4- Several press models don't have any positioning path on the shaft. In this case use a ruler to mark the shaft so both of the disks are parallel. Assemble the modules and verify that the disks are aligned and the cylinder is positioned properly(Click here for the schema).

Note : The disks screws must be well tightened and secure.
